What is the design process in Rococo? As a general guideline, we can outline this process as follows:

  • Initial call: 30-minute complimentary consultation to delve into the client’s idea and arrange a meeting.
  • Meeting to outline the roadmap and discuss the scope of work.
  • Client receives the proposal, covering style, budget, scope of work, and timeline.
  • Submission of design concepts and samples.
  • 2-3 review opportunities for the design concept.
  • Following the approval of the design concept, we proceed to craft a detailed project. This includes creating elevations, renderings, blueprints, material estimates, and spreadsheets outlining all furniture, materials, and accessories. These steps are crucial to guarantee that builders and contractors execute the project in alignment with the initial design objective. optional features
  • We can handle the purchasing and delivery for you. By tracking each item on a project management platform and including invoices, this process can become much less frustrating.
  • We offer supervision and project management to ensure that builders adhere to the project requirements and follow installation guides diligently.

How to stay in a budget

At Rococo, we value the significance of sticking to a budget. That’s why we meticulously list everything in spreadsheets, ensuring they are constantly updated and accessible in real-time on our project management platform. Our team consistently deliberates on the pricing categories for each material type, providing alternative options of similar quality if they do not align with the budget constraints. Our commitment to financial prudence does not compromise the creativity and excellence we bring to each project.

How much do you charge

  • A flat fee of $500 per room/area is charged for the design concept.
  • For the phase 2 detailed design project, a fee of 10% of the total estimate is applicable.
  • Purchasing and delivery management incur a charge of $50 per item.
  • Project management costs $100 with a video call or Zoom if our contractor is assigned to the project.
  • If not, the charge is $250 per on-site visit.
